Thursday, August 20, 2009
Depart O’Hare for your American Airlines morning flight to Albuquerque. Board private motorcoach to Santa Fe with box lunch enroute. Arrive at your hotel for the weekend, the 5-Star, Inn & Spa at Loretto. Dinner on own. Lecture by WFMT’s Carl Grapentine prior to performance of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival.

Friday, August 21, 2009
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure to enjoy the beautiful quaint town of Santa Fe. Dinner on own. Pre-performance lecture by Carl Grapentine, followed by a performance of “Don Giovanni” at the Santa Fe Opera.

Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure to enjoy the Santa Fe Indian Market.

SANTA FE INDIAN MARKET

Each year Santa Fe bring together the most gifted Native American artists from about 100 tribes who show their work in over 600 booths. This event attracts many visitors from all over the world. For many visitors, this is a rare opportunity to meet the artists and learn about contemporary Indian arts and cultures. Farewell dinner & lecture by Carl Grapentine, followed by a performance of “La Traviata” at the Santa Fe Opera Sunday, August 23, 2009 Breakfast at hotel.
